Fundraising: provide supplementary funds that help sponsor Library programming and staff development.
Goals
Advocacy: create a structured communication program around active grassroots community support, and distribute calls to action and information in a timely manner to all Friends members as well as specific Library advocates as appropriate.
Volunteer assistance: support Library staff in creating structured environment that ensures that all volunteers belong to a specific group and are treated as valuable assets of the greater organization.
Fundraising: hold the annual fall book sale and one to two additional fundraising events to support Library initiatives not covered by their budget.
