This 7,500 square foot branch library is the second library to be built since the Main Library opened in 1985. The design of the building incorporates lots of green space and includes a canopied outdoor area that will be used for story times and special programs. Patrons can use their laptops, with free WiFi, after hours. The interior of the building provides for lots of open space and plenty of windows which create a bright and inviting atmosphere. A special area for young adults and a children's room makes the branch an inviting and welcoming environment. Unlike the stationary units that currently exist in other branches the shelving will be moveable to allow for re-configuration.
