STUDENTS CAN GET FREE HOMEWORK HELP WITH Miami-Dade Public Library System’s S.M.A.R.T. (Science, Math and Reading Tutoring) Program
(Miami-Dade County, FL) – The Miami-Dade Public Library System’s S.M.A.R.T. (Science, Math and Reading Tutoring) Program currently offers free homework assistance help for students in grades K-12 every Saturday, now through May 16, 2009.
S.M.A.R.T. tutoring sessions are offered each Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in one-hour sessions at all library branches with the following exceptions: Model City Branch, which offers the program on Wednesdays between 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.; Miami Lakes, West Dade Regional and West Kendall Regional which offer additional hours on Saturdays between 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. Tutoring is done in small groups by carefully screened and experienced educators. Children should bring their textbooks, written assignments or any other materials they have questions about.
