The Miami-Dade Public Library System’s Project L.E.A.D. (Literacy for Every Adult in Dade) is seeking volunteer adult-literacy tutors to help change the lives of adults who are unable to read. Attendees must bring a picture I.D. and social security card for required background check.
Orientation & Basic Tutor Training November 7 Main Library 101 W. Flagler St., 9 am - 5:30 pm
Advanced Tutor Training: Skill Books 3 & 4 Pre-requisite: Orientation & Basic Tutor Training and successful fingerprint and background check.
November 14 Main Library - 101 W. Flagler St., - 10 am – 4 pm
Project L.E.A.D is a free, confidential, one-on-one tutoring program to assist adult learners in basic reading and writing. Become a Project L.E.A.D. volunteer and help change a life.
