MIAMI-DADE PUBLIC LIBRARY TO HOST LIVE WEBCAST FEATURING AUTHORS JULIA ALVAREZ AND EDWIDGE DANTICAT
The public is invited to be a part of the audience!
Two branches of the Miami-Dade Public Library System - the North Dade Regional Library at 2455 NW 183 street and the Pinecrest Branch Library at 5835 SW 111 Street - will serve as webcast hosts for a special live Algonquin Book Club conversation with authors Julia Alvarez and Edwidge Danticat on Monday, March 21 at 7 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
The Algonquin Book Club will welcome authors Julia Alvarez and Edwidge Danticat at the Books & Books store - 265 Aragon Avenue in Coral Gables for a discussion on Alvarez’ novel, In the Time of Butterflies. Tickets for the live appearance are $10. The discussion will be webcast at both libraries for free. The public is encouraged to come out and be a part of the webcast audience.
