To help the local small business community and small business owner, the Miami-Dade Public Library System will be hosting a Business Resource Open House on Thursday, July 21, 2011 at the Main Library - 101 West Flagler Street in downtown from noon until 7 p.m.  The purpose of the Open House is to highlight the Library’s valuable tools and resources and to equip entrepreneurs with important business related information. Participants are invited to take part in as many of the discussion topics as they like. Workshop topics include: Reference USA –The Small Business Development Tool; Business, Investment and Florida Resources on the Go and an Overview of Patents, Trademarks, Copyright and Trade Secrets among others.  A representative from Reference USA will be on hand to demonstrate this valuable business tool.
