LIBRARY'S BOOKMARK CONTEST WINNER ANNOUNCED

– Winners from each branch celebrated at unveiling party! –

(MIAMI, DECEMBER 10, 2012) Seven‑year‑old Yamile Andreoli from Miami Beach Regional Library is Miami‑Dade Public Library System's 2012‑2013 Bookmark Contest winner. She was among more than 1,200 participants who demonstrated creativity by designing a bookmark around the theme 'Discover Florida's Natural Treasures @ your Library' – which commemorates Florida's 500 years of history. Winners from each of the 49 branches were honored at a special party which was held on Saturday, December 8 at the Main Library. Each winner received a prize and a certificate. Yamile's design will be reproduced and distributed throughout all of the libraries. As the grand prize winner she received an iPod and art and crafts supplies.
