CELEBRATE THE HOLIDAY SEASON AT THE DEERING ESTATE AT CUTLER!

(MIAMI, NOVEMBER, 15, 2012) – Celebrate the holidays at the Deering Estate at Cutler with an exciting line-up of events for the entire family to enjoy!

Tree Lighting Ceremony
Kick-off the holiday season and enjoy some of your favorite holiday music performed by the 'Little Twinklers' from the GMYS Preparatory program and the Yuletide Carolers! Children can also participate in the lighting of the tree in the historic Stone House Ballroom.

Friday, November 30, 7 - 9 p.m.
$12 for adults & $7 for children (ages 4-14); FREE for Deering Estate Foundation Members.

Storytime & Kids Crafts With Santa
Santa Claus will be visiting the Estate for storytime and photographs in front of our magnificent 16 foot Holiday Tree in the historic Stone House Ballroom.

Saturday, December 8, 10 a.m. - noon
Free with Estate admission: $12 for adults & $7 for children (ages 4-14)

Take a relaxing Bay Cruise on the Pelican Island Skipper and discover South Florida's nature and history!

Sunday, December 16, 2 - 4 p.m. (please arrive at 1:30 p.m.)
$35 per person.

Deering "Holiday Wonderland"
Throughout December, visitors can tour the elegant and historic houses as they come alive with holiday accents and decorations! The "Holiday Wonderland" is an annual tradition at the Deering Estate and a special project of local garden clubs and community organizations.

Daily, December 1 - 31 (except for December 25th)
10 a.m. - 5 p.m. (ticket office closes at 4 p.m.)
Free with Estate admission: $12 for adults & $7 for children (ages 4-14)
