HELP CHANGE A LIFE!
– Miami-Dade Public Library System is seeking volunteer tutors! –
(MIAMI, FL – NOVEMBER 7, 2012) The Miami‑Dade Public Library System is seeking volunteer tutors for its adult literacy program – Project L.E.A.D. (Literacy for Every Adult in Dade) – a free, confidential one‑on‑one tutoring program which assists adult learners in basic reading and writing. Learn more about Project L.E.AD. during an orientation session and tutor training workshop on Saturday, December 1, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. at the Main Library, 101 West Flagler Street in downtown Miami.
Attendees are asked to bring a photo I.D. and social security information for required fingerprinting and background check. For more information, or to register, e-mail projectlead@mdpls.org or call 305.375.5323.
