(MIAMI, JUNE 12, 2013) – It’s time to take a trip down to the Caribbean as the Pinecrest Branch Library – 5835 SW 111 Street celebrates Caribbean Heritage Month on Saturday, June 22 at 11 a.m. Everyone is invited to enjoy the soothing sounds of the steel drum as performed by Mr. Cool – Reggie Paul. There will be a cooking demonstration by Jamaican native Chef Irie Spice; a book signing with David Muir, photographer and author of the book Pieces of Jamaica: The Real Rock Edition and lots of tall tales from the Caribbean will be told. The event is free.
