Family History Fair Series
Learn how to find your family history and how to keep your family’s precious memories alive with digital technology during MDPLS’s Family History Fair!
Digital Conversion Demonstrations will show you how to preserve treasured family photos, home movies, letters and documents and how you can enjoy and share them using digital media. Bring up to three personal photos, films, videos or other heirlooms for evaluation by preservation experts.
Connect with local organizations devoted to preserving our history, including the Lynn and Louis Wolfson II Florida Moving Image Archives, the Genealogical Society of Greater Miami, the Digital Library of the Caribbean, the Libraries at Florida International University, HistoryMiami and the Cuban Genealogical Society.
