To commemorate Haitian Heritage Month, join us for a virtual screening of the short film, The Sweetest Girl, a compelling and provocative love story set in Haiti, a country haunted by gun violence and human trafficking. The virtual screening will be followed by a panel discussion featuring the South Florida based cast and crew. Space is limited for this online event. Registration is required. Desouvre is a modern-day renaissance man, full-time faculty of Entrepreneurship, best-selling author, filmmaker and public speaker. In addition to various publications and audiobooks. His latest novella, Revelations: Roads to Redemption, has been partially adapted as short film titled, The Sweetest Girl. Desouvre served as the co-screenwriter and producer on that short film, which was shot in Summer 2020 in the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Desouvre received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with dual concentrations in Management Information Systems and Marketing at Drexel University and earned his MBA at Lynn University with dual concentrations in Marketing and Mass Communication Media Management.
Desouvre has been featured in various print publications, including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Daily News, Miami Herald, Miami New Times, HuffPost and Black Enterprise. He has also been featured in WLRN and on television outlets including NBC and ABC and South Florida PBS.
