About the Voices from Florida Series
The Special Collections & Archives division of the Miami-Dade Public Library System presents Voices from Florida, a monthly series about Florida's culture, literature, history, and communities.
This month we are excited to partner with the Florida Public Archaeology Network whose mission is to promote and facilitate the stewardship, public appreciation, and value of Florida's archaeological heritage. They are dedicated to the protection of cultural resources, both on land and underwater, and to involving the public in the study of their past.
