Learn Spanish at the Miami‑Dade Public Library for FREE!
– North Dade Regional Library and West Dade Regional Library will now offer Spanish classes –
(Miami, FL – September 9, 2015) If you have always wanted to learn Spanish as a second language, now is your chance! The Miami‑Dade Public Library System is proud to announce that it will now offer Spanish classes for beginners. Taught in conjunction with Florida International University’s Department of Modern Languages, this 8‑week course will give you the basics to achieve communicative competence in Spanish.
Classes are offered at the West Dade Regional Library located at 9445 Coral Way, Miami, Florida and the North Dade Regional Library located at 2455 NW 183 Street, Miami, Florida. Both classes are offered from 6 ‑ 8 p.m.
Students must commit to the eight classes and cannot enter the program if any of the previous classes were not taken. Registration is required. The class meets for once per week and materials will be provided. Students should bring paper, pen or pencil, an open mind and a willingness to express themselves through another language. There will be homework practices each week.
