Borrow-by-Mail will deliver your favorite book, audio book, DVD or CD right to your mailbox for just $2.00 per item. This charge is added to your library account when the item is checked out and mailed to you. Browse our catalog and when asked to select a pick up location, choose “Borrow-By-Mail - $2.00 charge.” You may also call, email or make a request in person, or over the phone. When selecting items to be delivered those listed as “in Library” will be sent out within a week, items listed as “not in Library” will take longer. Patrons may request up to 30 items. Only patrons with a Miami-Dade Public Library System account in good standing may use this service. Delivery will not be made if there are charges on your library account of $30 or more, or your library account has any blocks such as address verification, more than the allowed number of items out, etc. Once charges or blocks are cleared, delivery will resume.  

TO USE BORROW-BY-MAIL ONLINE
Place an online request through the Library catalog. Follow the online prompts to select an item. When asked to select a pickup location, choose “Borrow-By-Mail - $2.00 charge.” Return library materials to any branch library or reuse the mailer– postal rates apply.
