Registration for S.M.A.R.T. is scheduled for Saturday, October 9, 2010* from 9:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. Visit you local branch to register. Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Every student wants to be “SMART”er!
During the regular school year, experienced educators are available to help your child, in grades K-12, reinforce their school work in a small group setting for FREE. Students must bring their assignment, text or workbooks, or whatever they want to reinforce and our tutors will guide them.
Students must be able to work independently and follow directions. Maximum one (1) hour of tutoring per session. Students are expected to arrive on time and no later than 15 minutes past the hour assigned.
Most branches offer S.M.A.R.T. at 10:00 am, 11:00 am and 12:00 pm with the following exceptions:
Model City Branch Library – Wednesdays from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p. m.
Miami Lakes, West Dade Regional and West Kendall Regional will have additional Saturday hours from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
