Author’s Biography
Sadrul Fasihi was educated in Pakistan and the U.S., where he migrated in 1971. He worked as a Computer Analyst and Project Leader until he retired at age 62. Mr. Fasihi was twice elected President of the International Student Organization in college. In 2007 he cofounded the UHI Community Care Clinic. In 2020 founded UMC Free Clinic and served as clinic president for two terms. In 2008 Miami-Dade County Commissioner Senator Javier Souto appointed him to the Asian American Advisory Board, where he currently serves and was elected twice as Chairman. Mr. Fasihi and his wife travel extensively, both internationally and domestically. In his college days, his essay won the Essay of The Year award in 1965. He writes regularly on travel experiences for Pakistani newspapers. Mr. Fasihi is an active member of the South Florida Writers Association. He published his first book, One Egg Basket, in 2021.
