Author Biography
Dr. Michael Woodward Jr., a Miami native, is making a meaningful impact in education and literature. A former elementary school teacher and now a professor at Barry University, Dr. Woodward is passionate about creating stories that reflect the diverse experiences of young readers, ensuring every child sees themselves represented in literature. A dedicated educator, Dr. Woodward recently earned his PhD in Education while self-publishing an impressive 32 works. His most recent releases Young King & Young Queen are geared towards reminding young children of color of their royalty while affirming the greatness within them. This heartfelt companion story resonates with children and educators alike, reinforcing the power of imagery and representation in storytelling.
