Online Class: The Science of Baking - Make Pizza Dough

Do you know what makes dough rise? Join us to learn the science behind baking and how to make your own pizza dough at home. Gather ingredients from your home kitchen and follow a step-by-step online demonstration led by instructors from Crafting Confidence. Space is limited for this online event. Registration is required. Zoom link will be emailed to registrants within 24 hours of the event start time. Made possible by the Town of Miami Lakes Educational Advisory Board. Ages 8-18 yrs.

Ingredients and materials needed:

3.5 to 4 cups of flour (all purpose, bread, or 00 flour)
1 teaspoon sugar
1 envelope dry yeast
2 teaspoons kosher salt (1/2 if using regular salt)
1.5 cups warm water
2 Tablespoons olive oil
Bowl to mix everything in.
