Ingredients and Materials Needed:
Pie Crust:
• 2-1/2 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 tablespoon white sugar
• 1 cup butter
• 1/4 to 1/2 cup ice cold water
Blueberry Filling:
• 4 cups blueberries
• 1/2 cup granulated white sugar
• 2 tablespoons cornstarch
• 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
• Zest from 1 lemon
• 1/2 tablespoon butter, cut into small pieces
Egg Wash:
• 1 large egg yolk
Utensils:
• Food processor OR mixing bowl & spoon (either one is ok)
• 9 inch pie dish
