Did you know that challenges to books and other materials have increased across the country in recent years? In recognition of Banned Books Week, join an online panel of Miami-Dade Public Library System staff and other education professionals as they discuss current events, the impacts of book challenges on readers, and ways to ensure the freedom to read for everyone. Registration is required. Zoom link will be emailed to registrants within 24 hours of the event start time. Ages 8 yrs.+
Banned Books Week is the annual celebration of the freedom to read, taking place this year from September 18 - 24.
