Kathryn L. Beasley received her Ph.D. in History from Florida State University with research areas in agriculture history, rural history, and women’s history—she is under contract with an academic press for her first book. She wrote her Master’s thesis on First Lady Ellen Wilson, which was requested by the White House’s Office of the Curator to be included as part of their files; among her publications is an article on First Lady Pat Nixon in the White House History Quarterly, as well as another upcoming article on First Ladies.
