About the Presenter
With 25 years of National Park Service as a volunteer Everglades interpretive ranger, Ellen also holds the UF/IFAS Master Naturalist certificate. As well as being a National Park Service volunteer ranger, leading visitors into active alligator holes for fun, she also is committed to creating climate conversations wherever she goes. She created this Climate Conversations presentation series to help the lay public understand the science, the seriousness, and the solutions of climate change.
She has taught with the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the University of Miami, and the Institute for Retired Learners at the University of Florida, as well as to civic and religious groups, the Sierra Club, and the Florida Trail Association.
