Learn step-by-step the process of turning leaves, branches, paper plates and other recyclable materials into rich organic soil called compost. TTY users may also call 711 (Florida Relay Service).Upon completion of this workshop, participants will receive a voucher for one FREE composting bin (one per household, Miami-Dade residents only) provided by the Miami-Dade County Department of Solid Waste Management while supplies last. Residents of the City of Miami Beach may choose to receive a composting bin courtesy of Surfriders Miami Chapter while supplies last. The pickup location is listed on the voucher which is provided to attendees at the end of the program.
