Learn step-by-step the process of turning leaves, branches, paper plates and other recyclable materials into rich organic soil called compost. Upon completion of this workshop, participants will receive a voucher for one FREE composting bin (one per household, Miami-Dade residents only) provided by the Miami-Dade County Department of Solid Waste Management while supplies last. Residents of the City of Miami Beach may choose to receive a composting bin courtesy of Surfriders Miami Chapter while supplies last. The pickup location is listed on the voucher which is provided to attendees at the end of the program.
