Can't make it to one of our branches? Then visit one of our mobile libraries! Borrow books, music, audiobooks, movies, Chromebook laptops, Wi-Fi hotspots and more on the Bookmobile or explore digital photography, music production, graphic design, 3D printing, drone flying and virtual reality on the Technobus – the Library's computer lab on wheels!

Our mobile libraries make scheduled stops each week at public parks, childcare facilities, condominium complexes, retirement communities, senior centers, recreational facilities and more.* Each stop typically lasts about an hour.

To request Mobile Library service at your location, please complete the Request for Mobile Library Services form .

The Miami-Dade Public Library System’s Bookmobiles give residents more convenient access to library services and materials. Borrow items from a traveling collection of over 30,000 items including books for all ages, music, audiobooks, movies, and Chromebooks  or Wi-Fi hotspots to get internet and Wi-Fi access wherever you go. The Bookmobiles make 30 scheduled stops each week and Wi-Fi is available on board. Don’t have a library card? Click here to register for an eCard or sign up for a physical card at the Bookmobile.

The Miami-Dade Public Library System Technobus is a 37-foot-long mobile technology learning center focused on narrowing the digital divide throughout Miami-Dade County. Join us for introductory computer classes offering hands-on training for the public to gain the computer skills necessary for today’s workforce. Additionally, the Technobus provides classes in digital photography, music production, filmmaking, graphic design, 3D printing, drone flying, augmented reality, virtual reality and more. You can also borrow a Wi-Fi hotspot to get internet and Wi-Fi access wherever you go, free with your library card.
