What is Miami Book Month?

On October 18, 2022, the Miami-Dade Board of County Commissioners adopted a resolution designated November as Miami Book Month, recognizing the vital role of reading, literacy and the organizations that promote literary arts throughout the community, including the Miami-Dade Public Library System, Miami Book Fair and Books & Books.

Year-Round Book Sale

Did you know you can buy books at your local library branch? Explore our year-round book sale, featuring gently used donated books, paperbacks and audiovisual materials (like DVDs and CDs) for just $1.00 each, with hardcovers priced at only $2.00.

Find great titles at bargain prices and support your Library at the same time! Proceeds benefit Miami-Dade Public Library System programs and events.
