Additionally, the Vasari Project is an archive that documents the development of the visual arts in Miami‑Dade County since 1945.

I began drawing before anything else. It was, and still is, my most sincere way of understanding the world. I never took formal drawing classes; I learned by observing, experimenting, and allowing myself to be inspired by artists who sparked my curiosity. Through trial and error, I explored many techniques and styles, all of which are present in this exhibition.

Fruits of the Spirit is a visual and immersive art experience exploring the nine virtues found in Galatians 5:22–23: Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Through large-scale paintings and community workshops, the exhibition invites viewers to reflect on these timeless values as tools for personal growth and collective healing.

Inspired by Scripture yet accessible to all, Fruits of the Spirit reimagines spiritual fruit as universal virtues, reminding us that when we nurture these qualities within ourselves, we bear good fruit in everyday life.

Voyage Into My Soul

By Emilio Héctor Rodríguez
Curated by Pedro Hérnandez

October 24, 2025 – January 8, 2026

Westchester Regional Library

The abstract painting of Emilio Héctor Rodríguez unfolds a universe where color and form become an autonomous language. His work, infused with both mathematical and spiritual sensitivity, offers a vision that transcends the figurative to venture into realms of contemplation and mystery. Each canvas weaves transparencies, rhythms, and chromatic tensions that invite the viewer into an experience that is more introspective than descriptive.

Silenced Lives

Voices of the River of Grass

October 4, 2025 - January 5, 2026

Miami Beach Regional Library

This exhibition honors those whose voices have been silenced and whose stories remain untold, while amplifying the resilience and strength of Indigenous communities. The works of seven Indigenous artists and artists of Indigenous ancestry speak volumes. Each piece is a testament to lives taken and voices erased.
