Author's Biography
Renzo Del Castillo is a creative instigator and community builder, a willing poet, who bridges gaps and builds empathy through creation, art, integrity, and love. Born in Lima, Peru, Del Castillo has spent the last 15 years as an executive in the healthcare industry. He currently resides in Miami, but he prioritizes traveling to experience the tenets of other cultures. Del Castillo’s work is unique to him, written out of both his classical training and the lived experience that has made him who he is. In pairing his education with the power of his own story, Del Castillo invites, equips, and challenges you to think about art and poetry differently, and to begin engaging and creating your own. He strongly believes that it is through art that we find the divinity of truth, the pathway of communication with others; that through this connection we are made whole. Del Castillo’s award-winning and Amazon bestselling debut poetry collection, Still, inspires a deeper look into the complexities of adapting to new cultures, redefining identity, and finding similarities in the most uncommon spaces.
