Author's Biography:
Lifelong friends, Christine and Jennifer teamed up to write Oliver at Your Service, a book that helps children understand that everyone experiences emotions differently—and sometimes, a helping hand (or paw) makes all the difference.
Christine Leoni has loved books since childhood, a passion that led her to earn a master’s degree in Reading and Language Arts from Florida State University. She was inspired to write after recognizing a need for a children’s book that helps young readers understand emotions, the different types of service dogs, and the people who rely on them.
Jennifer Puckett is also a Florida State University alumna with degrees in Elementary Education and Reading and Language Arts. She spent 30 years as an elementary school teacher, sharing countless stories with her students and witnessing firsthand the power of a great book to foster understanding and connection. After retiring from teaching, she wanted to continue inspiring children through literature in a new way.
