Miami-Dade’s Animal Services and Public Library System launch 4th annual “Presents for Pets” holiday donation drive for shelter pets
Miami, FL (November 21, 2024) – The Miami-Dade County Animal Services Department, in partnership with the Miami-Dade Public Library System, announce the launch of the 4th annual “Presents for Pets” holiday donation drive. Through December 31, 2024, we invite the community to spread holiday cheer by picking up a gift for our cherished shelter pets during their holiday shopping.
As the festive season approaches, our shelter pets are eagerly awaiting the joy that comes with treats, toys, cozy blankets, and pet beds. Your generous donations will not only bring smiles to their furry faces but also significantly enhance their quality of life while they wait for their forever homes.
“As you embark on your holiday shopping this season, we encourage you to consider adding a small gift for a shelter pet to your list,” says Annette Jose, Director of Miami-Dade County Animal Services. “These thoughtful donations bring warmth, comfort, and a sense of hope to our shelter pets, reminding them that love is just around the corner.”
Join us in making this holiday season truly special for the animals in our care. Your contributions will help us create a more joyful environment for our shelter pets and show them that they are valued members of our community.
Together, let’s share the spirit of giving and ensure that every shelter pet feels the warmth of the holiday season!
