About the Author:
D. B. Albiza is a Miami-born author of Cuban descent whose deep-rooted passion for horror has shaped both her life and her writing. A dedicated educator, she spent twenty-five years teaching middle school, where she nurtured her students’ imaginations by stocking her classroom library with horror books and crafting original spooky tales that captivated her young audience. Growing up enthralled by horror movies, Albiza went on to discover a love for reading horror as well, which fueled her creative journey. When she finally turned her talents to writing, she penned a collection of scary stories inspired by the students she once taught, blending her cultural heritage and lifelong fascination with the macabre into chilling narratives.
