About the Presenter
With 25 years of National Park Service as a volunteer Everglades interpretive ranger, Ellen also holds the UF/IFAS Master Naturalist certificate. As well as being a National Park Service volunteer ranger, leading visitors into active alligator holes for fun, she also is committed to creating climate conversations wherever she goes. She created this Climate Conversations presentation series to help the public understand the science, the seriousness, and the solutions to climate change.
She has taught with the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the University of Miami, the Institute for Retired Learners at the University of Florida, the Sierra Club, the Florida Trail Association, and civic and religious groups.
