Author's Biography

Andrés Cárdenas is a Venezuelan author and storyteller based in Doral, Florida. His passion for writing began as a way to connect more deeply with his son, turning bedtime stories into magical adventures that soon became the foundation for the Daniel saga. Inspired by his role as a father and his love for epic tales filled with mystery and courage, Andrés brings heartfelt imagination to every page. Daniel and the Shard of Forever is his debut novel, blending emotion, fantasy, and cinematic action to create a story that resonates with readers of all ages—especially those between 8 and 14. He hopes to inspire children to read more, dream big, and believe in their own power to face challenges. Through the story of Daniel and his loyal dog Mila, Andrés shares messages about family, friendship, bravery, and hope that reflect values close to his heart. He continues to write the next chapters of Daniel’s journey, always guided by the wide-eyed wonder of childhood and the belief that every great adventure begins with a simple “what if…”
