Up to 20% of students struggle with the challenges of learning to read, write, and spell - as well as the related social and emotional consequences that often occur. Unfortunately, many myths and misconceptions exist regarding this "hidden" disability. This session will provide accurate definitions of Dyslexia and common characteristics. We will also begin the conversation about the importance of the Science of Reading for ALL students, including those with Dyslexia. Resources will be provided.
