Babka Ingredients and Utensils
Ingredients for dough:
- 1 tablespoon dry yeast
- 1 1/3 cup warm water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/3 cup oil
- 4 cups flour
Choose 1 or both filling options:
Chocolate Filling:
- 1/2 cup cocoa
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1 tablespoon water
- Mix filling ingredients in bowl and spread over dough
Cinnamon Filling:
- 1 cup dark brown sugar
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 3 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted or canola oil
- 1/2 cup (57g) diced pecans or walnuts (optional)
Streusel:
- 1 egg white
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoon oil
Utensils:
- 1 medium Bowl
- 2 smaller bowls
- Measuring cups and spoons
- Mixing spoons
- Rolling pin

- 2 9x5 loaf pans
