Art Session: Library Card Design Contest for Teens

Want to see your artwork featured on a MDPLS library card distributed across our community? Now is your chance! Work on creating your submission for our Library Card Design Contest for Teens! Materials will be provided to help you bring your design to life. The winning design will be turned into a limited-edition library card that will be distributed at all of our branch locations. Theme: Exploring Myths and Legends. Unleash your creativity and design a library card that brings these mythical stories to life!

  • Participants must be 13 to 19 years of age, have a Miami-Dade Public Library System card and be a resident of Miami-Dade County. 
  • Participants who do not have a library card can visit ecard.mdpls.org to sign up and receive an E-card via email. 
  • All artwork must be the original work of the artist and can be created digitally or by hand.
  • Art supplies will be available, or feel free to use your own! Computer access will be available for digital art entries.

Limit of one contest entry per artist.
