Join writer and researcher Nadege Green for an exploration of Miami's Black LGBTQ+ history. By collecting oral histories and archival material, Nadege brings to life this understudied part of Miami's history. Attendees are invited to visit the exhibit at the Little Haiti Cultural Center Art Gallery located at 212 NE 59 Terrace following the event. Registration is required. About the Presenter
Nadege Green is the project founder of @BlackMiamiDade, a multimedia history and storytelling platform that resists the erasure of Miami-Dade County’s Black past. At Black Miami-Dade, the layers, memories and beauty of local Black life are highlighted through research, community-based projects and education.
