About
Christine Michaels is a cultural curator and heritage storyteller whose work has helped shape Miami’s cultural landscape. She began with her acclaimed Little Havana Walking Tours—ranked among the top 10% of world attractions by TripAdvisor—establishing herself as a trusted voice in cultural tourism. Her storytelling journey evolved into the creation of the Little Havana Shop, where she artfully blends culture and fashion through sustainably crafted hats, guided by the belief that fabric is a universal language and every stitch tells a story. This deep-rooted passion for preserving and sharing cultural narratives led Christine to co-found Indigenous Whispers, a mission-driven initiative honoring the heritage of Miami’s Indigenous peoples, including the Tequesta. Christine continues to weave together the diverse threads of Miami’s rich cultural tapestry, ensuring ancient stories and traditions remain alive, vibrant, and relevant for generations to come.
