J. Robert Oppenheimer played an integral role in developing the first atomic bomb. Throughout the development of the bomb, Oppenheimer struggled with justifying a creation that came to cause so much damage. He questions whether he owes it to scientific discovery to create something capable of so much power. Staff will give a short introduction into the making of the atomic bomb. While waiting for the movies, make a Barbie-themed button and take pictures in your best costume! Younger Barbie lovers can also enjoy a take-and-make bracelet craft to bring the fun of the event home. From a thought-provoking comedy to a dramatic biopic, there is something for everyone during Barbenheimer!
