- Introduction to sewing must-haves: needles, fabric, thread and seam rippers
Machine Threading Basics
- Step-by-step demonstration on how to properly thread a sewing machine
- Understanding the bobbin, tension, and threading path
- Guided practice so you can thread your machine confidently on your own
Hands-On Stitching Practice
- Learn how to control the sewing machine’s speed
- Practice stitching on scrap fabric to get a feel for handling fabric and guiding it through the machine
- Build confidence with straight-line stitching and adjusting speed as you go
