Connie Mae Concepción Oliver is a poet and artist whose hybrid works focus on prose poems, photography, drawings, and questions about place and the passage of time. Her first collection of poems, Cosmos A Personal Voyage by Carl Sagan Ann Druyan Steven Soter and Me was published in 2017 by the Operating System and is about nuclear disarmament. Science Fiction Fiction, a collection of poems about the early 2000's in Miami-Dade, was published in 2020 by Spuyten Duyvil Press and reviewed in the Miami New Times in January of this year. Please Mr. Postman, dedicated to her friend, the late musician Kristopher Pabon, is forthcoming this year from the same press. Her current project, dormilona, is about sleep studies and matrilineal family history.
