Create a fun and meaningful scrapbook page that shows off your family and your heritage. You'll get to use pictures, drawings, and decorations to tell your story and highlight your culture. Please bring photo copies of images you would like to use. Suggested images include family photos, childhood memories, friends, and hobbies/interests. What We’ll Do:
1. Create a personalized scrapbook page that represents your family, culture, and country of origin or connection.
2. Use materials like photos, magazine cutouts, drawings, and stickers to decorate your page.
3. Write short reflections, quotes, or family sayings to include on your page.
4. Share your page with the group (optional) to learn more about each other’s roots and experiences.
Why It Matters:
1. Reflect on where you come from and the people who shaped you.
2. Celebrate the beauty and uniqueness of different Latin American cultures.
3. Practice mindfulness and self-expression through art and storytelling.
Materials Provided:
1. Scrapbook paper, markers, glue, scissors, magazines, stickers, and more.
2. Feel free to bring your own printed photos or special items you’d like to include.
